Hans-Joachim Heins, his roots are in the software and service industry in Germany, Austria,
and Switzerland, where he has been active for more than 30 years. Before founding consellex he
was CEO of MATHEMA AG, a technology specialist for object-oriented distributed systems.
Prior to his involvement with MATHEMA, he was responsible for the Borland sales organization
in middle Europe. He came to Borland as part of the Visigenic acquisition where he drove the
market introduction of software development tools. Until the early 90's he was employed by
DIGITAL EQUIPMENT Inc. where, among other things, he was responsible for indirect sales channels.
